I’m Adam Roy, a writer, editor, and creator. In my professional life, I’m the editor-in-chief of Backpacker and a former editor at Outside, Matador Network, and the alt-weeklies Westword and Phoenix New Times. I’ve also written for magazines including Paste, Triathlete, and High Country News. Outside of work I’m a hiker, rock climber, skier, spider enthusiast, amateur cartographer and coder, game creator, and dad.
